Yea, I know. But thanks! (Shoulda included my variables in the post)
I've got the Database server, the D4GL application and the fglX11d running on
the AIX iron and I rlogin in to there from my linux boxen.
In the ksh shell on the aix box, these variables are set:
My DISPLAY variable is the linuxbox:0
My FGLSERVER variable is the rs6000box:0
I run "fglx11d -n 0 &" on the rs6000box
TCL_LIBRARY and TK_LIBRARY vars point to the respective dirs on the rs6000
where the TCL-TK tools are loaded.
(rs6000box and linuxbox are really the ip addresses for those machines.)
I've also tried other daemon numbers than 0 with fglx11d and FGLSERVER
