Hi all,
I want to compare some onstat outputs . In onstat -g ntm , for 1 hour of
running online, i have 20,000 connects.(connects output) This is a bank and
onstat -u shows 1800 users.Their application (power builder) possibly makestoo many connections.
Dbserver is online 7.30 uc5, on sun solaris 10000.
Any information (onstat -g ntm output , etc..) belonging to a particular
system helps me.
Regards,
Tolga

Refer to the Sql Power SniFFFer at www.sqlpower.com.
The product will non-intrusively capture, log and analyze all or any subset
of the SQL transactions sent over a network to the database server with no
required impact upon the database server, network and end-users.
You will be able to see all connects and SQL that originate from a
workstation by connect time, login id and IP address.
For SQL transactions you can see all SQL execute immediates, prepares,
fetches, cursor operations (open, fetch, close, free) by user id, rows
returned, database server response time, network time and more.
The product is a ZERO impact database monitor that analyzes the SQL network
packet flow to the database server.
