TO: Alan Denney, Enterprise Technology Center, Informix Software, Inc. Thank you for the quick and accurate response to the Ace Report Writer problem of "PROGRAM" key word. Contrary to published statements directed against Informix Support, If those individuals who have technical problems with the software performing the tasks they require would only give people like yourself a chance to help, they might have greater success with thier end product. After all, in the end, the product we supply to our customer, the guy who signs our paycheck, is what really counts. That is if we still need a payckeck. So, now I'm back to writting reports which cannot be piped to another DOS program command, but formated for WordPerfect where we can make minor changes to the document. Too bad we cannot fully automate the system like I have done with our Unix system. But, some automation is better than none. Again, thank you for your reply. Michael S.
