Help! sqlerr -257!

Thanks to all who helped me solve the -4518 error. The addition of "OTHERWISE" to CASE and the C functions worked like a charm. I still have one more constraint that I hope someone out there can provide some insight on: SQLERR -257: "System limit on cursors exceeded, max number is ###" This error occurs after the program runs a while. I have free-ed up most of the cursors that was prepared, but it still happens. Is there a way for me to tell how many cursors are in use, and possibly increase the number of cursors? Are there methods to get around this problem? Once again we're developing this Informix 4GL application under Informix 4GL 4.0 and FourGen CASE tools on a 486 Box running SCO Unix 3.2.2.
