ROOTSIZE defaults

Configuration parameter ROOTSIZE in Informix v12.10.x defaults to 300000. This is different from our production version (11.70.x, HP-UX ia) where ROOTSIZE is 200000. I'm trying to understand the reasons for this size difference. The v12.x engine does come up with ROOTSIZE of 200000. Is there a downside to keeping the value the same as in production?
