Pankaj I think you probably need to set LD_LIBRARY_PATH to point to your $INFORMIXDIR/lib. You will find the shared object file libifasf.so there. I have followed instrustion as per README file. But I cannot get past the test for compiling esqlbasic. It compiles OK but when I run it the following message is displayed. ld.so.1: ./esqlbasic: fatal: libifasf.so: open failed: No such file or directory Killed What have I missed ? The README states that if I cannot get this working I have a problem with my Informix Environment. But what am I missing. Last time I compiled an ESQL/C program was at least 4 years ago so my knowledge on that is a bit lacking. I have also down loaded the latest version of Client SDK from IDN.
