ACE report question.

Reading INFORMIX-SQL Reference Manual Version 4.0, page 5-54 on the subject "BEFORE GROUP OF" I see: 6. You cannot use an integer to indicate by which column of the select-list the grouping it to occur. I have a report using "UNION" between three "SELECT" statements where I MUST use the column numbers in the "ORDER BY" list and the ACE report compiler seems to insist that I also use a number to reference the selected column with a "BEFORE GROUP OF" statement! I'm running ISQL 4.14 and I see no other "hint" in the "release" documentation. What am I missing? Do I need a documentation "update"?
