Here is the safe, easy way to tell how many rows are in the user's temp table
when you don't know the name of the temp table.
onstat -g ses -- find the user you're looking for and note his sessid
onstat -g ses <sessid> -- note the partnum of any temp tables listed
onstat -t | grep <partnum>
