Parsing a string in SPL

HI ALL, I wonder if someone knows if there is a way to parse a varchar string in SPL. Let's say I have a field in a table that contain a sample entry like: "Chocolate Truffle Torte" I want to parse this string into 3 separate words based on a space between them. Well, there is another problem also - number of words may vary as well, so local to the stored procedure variable has to be some kind of array. If anybody done something similar - please, help.
