If you're SQL-challenged, this part is halfway correct.

You might as well do this part in dbaccess.
If you absolutely have to take the data out of the database, try running a sort
tbl.unl|uniq instead. Then at least it stands a chance of working.

Actually its shell and vi enabled ... most DBAs that I've encountered have minimal
programing and UNIX skills ... are you inferring that SQL is a language?
