Depends on the mode of the database
but if logging is used and there was a beign with
no commit and no close database then the engine will roll back the
work when the session is terminated, you can try this on your port
by
a) run the dbaccess or isql program on the pc.
b) isql script
begin work;
insert into table X values (1,2,3,4... )
c) on the server check it go there with dbaccess using a select after
set isolation mode dirty read;
d) just turn off the pc at the mains or re-boot
e) check on the server if the process is gone if not then kil with
tbmode -z
f) on the server run the dbaccess again to see the reord has gone.
hope this helps
graham.
