I have an idea, I even know what the problem is, but I don't have the exact answer with me. :-( In a nutshell, OnPerf by default displays white text on a white background. Someone's cruel joke. What you have to do is set the X foreground colour to black or some other visible colour. I think the file is called .Xdefaults, and you need something like onperf.foreground=black, but I am not entirely sure of the syntax. Best to check the manual. > PS.
