ODBC with MS ACCESS to Informix 7.3 DB problem

I have linked a query in Access directly to my Informix database. The issue that I am having is that I am receivingthe following error when I try to run the query; "ODBC - call failed". I have put the following data in the queries source connect string, "DSN=xxxxx;DATABASE=xxxxx;UID=xxxx;PWD=xxxx", however, I the receive the following error, "Could not find installable ISAM". Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rob, Try connecting from some other tool and see if you get the same message. Hi Rob, You connect string is not complete, try this :- ODBC;DSN=DSName;UID=*****;PWD=*****;DATABASE=Database;HOST=HostName;SERVER=D BServer;SERVICE=turbo;PROTOCOL=olsoctcp; Note service / protocol may differ dependent on the server OS - Unix / NT. Alternatively use the connect string builder, click to the right of the DSN field in the properties dailogue. This will lead you to select from the standard ODBC manager of any DSN's that you have defined. Note this ONLY works for SQL pass through queries, if you wish to use access graphical queries you need to link to the tables first... Good Luck, hope this helps. Lee....
