using UNION in view statment

Hi We are using Informix 7.24 on Solaris 2.6. Can we use UNION while creating view. I'm getting an error while executing the below sql. (The SQL is only for testing the VIEW statment.) create view tview3 (item_num,manu_code) as select item_num,manu_code from items where item_num=1 union select item_num,manu_code from items where order_num=104 Can any help me on above.
