Does your update statistics command create data distributions ?? This happens if you run update statistcs medium or high. In 7.31 there were some bugs related to these distributions. I solved the problem by dropping the distributions for some tables, and the performance increased. Another attempt is to drop and recreate indexes, it worked in our case too. The problem is that you must analyse the queries that are having problems, identify the tables, then make your actions... and test !!!!! Hope this helps. -- Paulo Roberto Marelli de Amorim TS&0 Consulting Brasil In article <3a3e5d7d.3134757@News.CIS.DFN.DE>, obnoxio@hotmail.com (Obnoxio The Clown) wrote: > In the year of Our Lord Mon, 18 Dec 2000 20:26:27 +0200, kt > <h78816@loisto.uwasa.fi> broke a vow of silence to utter: > > >Yes! > > > > > >KT > > > >> did u run update statistics etc ??? > > So, how about you answer my question? > > Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/
