Sorry folks, a direct reply bounced with "host unknown".... After checking the man pages about SDS arrays, I am certain that we don't use this capability (it is only for 700 series) but..... We have two 700-series and two 800-series HP 9000 machines. Our machines have never had a problem with corruption of rootdbs. I don't recall this corruption ever occuring with any of our customers that run HP either (although they run 800-series machines, if that matters). BTW, we're running HPUX 9.04 on the F20s, 9.01 on the 715 and 712. Our customers may vary, but most are running 9.00. OnLine is at 5.02.UC1 in-house, customers are still at 5.01.UD1. (They will get "permission" to upgrade soon.) Hope this is helpful. -- Bryan Klopfenstein bryan@carsinfo.com CARS Information Systems Corp. Cincinnati, OH Standard Disclaimers Apply
