Here is your problem. The platform is not releasing the network
interface right away. The time you are taking to cleanup the orphaned
fglgo's is simply allowing enough time for the interface to reset. Try
sleep 600; oninit just for a goof next time and see if I am right. I
think I am. Is this an AIX or other BSD derivative system? This was a
problem under BSD for years.
