Fire them? Pro-rata a pay reduction based on the number of lost rows? 8-)
There is no way to restore selectively with ontape. If you have certain
tables you regularly restore, you might look at onunload and onload
which do allow unloading and loading of tables at the page level.
But you will still need your main level 0 archive!
