Steven, I have already been in touch with one of your support staff. All I got = was ways to troubleshoot Windows 3.1, not ERWin. I tried everything, I tried = with NT 4.0 with a HP Pentium - 32 megs of RAM, then 64 megs. Nothing. Still the same = GPF. I also know the current version is 2.6,but over here a monthly salary is = $20 and we=20 already put down $3500 to get ERWin 2.0 in 1995 when we could easily = aford it.=20 We can't afford to buy 2.6 right now. In case you could help, here's my problem: I have a 500K ER1 with 139 tables and around 850 columns in total. It = loads the model alright, ( takes a minute ) and when I try to add a new = subject area I get either a GPF, or it just hangs, or I get an ERWin error message = and then the GPF. ( I can't quote the message now, but I can get it. ) When the = model is loaded, I can browse through everything, I can move around freely, I = can=20 change the view, but as soon as I try to add something new, or copy = something I get problems. We're using Informix OnLine 5.1 and Informix-NET.=20 We were very successful with ERWin in the past, I am worried that we'll = have to give up all the comfort of a graphical representation and move back = into scripts, etc.=20 Thanks, Emil. ---------- From: Steven Liebler Sent: 31 =DF=ED=F3=E0=F0=E8 1997 =E3. 18:24 To: informix-list@rmy.emory.edu Subject: Re: ERWin/ERX 2.0 Emil, I'm from Logic Works in the US...
