Informix 7.x with SP6
We have a client who has loaded SP6 to a NT workstation. This machine was being used succesfully as an Informix databse server for a CAD application. After loading SP6 Informix no longer comes on line. An attempt to bring the dbase on line just hangs the interface which was used to attempt to bring the dbase on line. Forgive my vagueness here, I am not an Informix DBA, but the interface is similar to Oracle's Enterprise manager, which gives a tree like structure. You can highlight the database and then selecet "online" from the menu. Does anyone know of any reason and therefore the solution, as to why loading of SP6 would cause this problem? Check if the IDs version u are running is certified to run with Sp6 installed.
