I have something that worries me a bit. I wrote a 4gl program that will run
the update statistics on my system. The old update statistics cron used to
only update statistics on
- tables
- indexed columns
The new program will also update statistics on the non-indexed columns.
What worries me is, to keep this information I must need more space right ?
How much more space do I need ? Is it something to worry about - I tested
the program on our development server and it was ok, I just want to make
double sure that when I run this on my live system, that it doesn't bring
the system down.
