You can compile the 4GL code to C, but it doesn't make sense. What you would have to do is see how 4GL preprocesses a function call to C then have your C program mimic it. Then you would still have to preprocess 4GL to esql/C then compile with your C code. All of the Informix documentation tells how to call C from 4GL not = the reverse. But hey I could be wrong. -Mikey
