Yes, there is, although for a while this might not have
been supported.
set environment variable RASHELP to 1
oncheck -me <TBLspace/partition number> <target number of extents>
So, take a table with 50 extents you can reduce it to 1 if you have
enough contiguous space by setting the target to 1.
There were a couple of threads about this a while back.
I have used it numerous times in dev.
