IUS 9.14.TC6 blob storage solution need

Does enybody have solution about BLOB storage? Blobs size in my database are between 0.1K and 5K and used for ASCII text storage. Whereas minimum page size in _sbspace_ is 1 informix-page (i.e. 2K). onspaces -c -S sbs1 -g 1 -p E:\\IFMXDATA\\ol_skynet\\sbs1.000 -o 0 -s 500000 In that way we have storage dissipation ~70% with many many blobs. It would seem I can use a LVARCHAR, but Borland Delphi4.02 (BDE 5.10) is not supports this data type (only TEXT & BYTE types are supported). I use lotofile function to access to blobs. %( Development tools can not be replaced, because project is run to finish. Does enybody have proposition about using another data type (wich supports Borland) for text storage. PS: I use a Excalibur Text search datablade module release 1.30.TC3 for text search in this blobs (ASCII text).
