Does anyone out there have Joe Lumbley's new book (the DBA survival guide)? If so, what topics does he cover? Is it geared toward ODS 7.3? Is it worth buying?

Vicky: Here's what Joe himself says -- via his e-mail signature -- about what the book will cover: --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joe Lumbley(jlumbley@netcom.com) author of: "INFORMIX DBA Survival Guide" The DBA Survival Guide, Second Edition will cover NT, 7.X through 7.3, graphical utilities, more survival hints. Publish date: 12/16/98 FINALLY! --------------------------------------------------------------------------- In re: "is it worth buying?", all I can say is that a) I plan on buying a copy as soon as I can find one, b) there's a dearth of 3rd party books on Informix as it is, so I welcome any and all comers and c) I know he's been working on the 2nd ed. for quite awhile and has done very thorough research.
