RE: Construct with Array??
Posted in 2001
You don't need an array. The existing contruct statement allows you to enter all sorts of things. Now on the other hand if you wanted to do something like a pull down window and select things from a list.... Go ahead and do your normal construct for everything else. Pop open your window, have them select whatever, stash all of these elements into a new string with a nice "column='value' and columns='value'...". Now go back to your constructed string - did they actually put anything in it or did they go straight to your pull down window? If they put nothihing in, then append "where" and new_string to your construct string - otherwise "and" and new_string. Viola, you have a string ready to prepare. cheers j.
