We have done a level-0 backups just 1 hours before the incident. But when we tried to restore the db, it DIDN't show the usual 10 percent done. 20 percent done. .. .. 100 percent done in fact the restore (ontape -r) completed after 2 hours without showing the above msg. The error msg shown on the online.log was OK. archieve started at .... completed at ... When it asked "Do you want to restore logical log ?" , we put in the logical log tape and then typed "Y".
