indexing temptables.

Hello all! I'm getting errors using temptables. Problem #1 I create the table like this: create temp table temptalning(num char(11), pr char(5)) lock mode row create index i_btaln on temptalning(num) Then I insert into it: insert into temptalning values(b_nemi.numer, b_nemi.prof) And occasionally get this error: SQL-error number -239. Could not insert new row - duplicate value in a UNIQUE INDEX column. SYSTEM error number -100. ISAM error: duplicate value for a record with unique key. Dagur: 17.05.1993 T'mi: 14:40:27 The error only comes once in a while. The table is created (unconditionally) in the same function that the insert-statement resides in so there shouldn't be a question of the existence of the table. (See problem #2) As can be seen I dont create a UNIQUE index so... any explainations? Problem #2 More frequently than the other, but again less often than not this error occures in the same function on the same temp table: SQL-error number -242. Could not open database table (lolo.temptalning). SYSTEM error number -101. ISAM error: file is not open. Ideas anyone?
