HELP - ISAM error codes through ADO/DAO VB6

HELP! I've seen only two posts in the group regarding this issue (No Replys). I am generating errors through a vb6 application and cannot see the corresponding ISAM error codes. Here's how I'm testing: 1. Create table error test with two columns (id, name) 2. Place unique contraint on column 'name' 3. Insert a record with duplicate name into the table (Generates error) - when attempting to perform this insert through dbaccess (linux) I get the sql error and ISAM error: 239: Could not insert new row - duplicate value in a UNIQUE INDEX column. 100: ISAM error: duplicate value for a record with unique key. - However, when I perform the same insert through vb code, I receive only the 239 error. I am looping through the "Errors" collection on the ADO.Connection and can confirm that only one error exists. (Same thing happens through DAO but it's broken into 2 errors , no isam code) (Also, I'm making my connection through Informix ODBC driver 3.34) My thanks in advance, Scott
