Thanks in advance

Mark Stock's response is valid. In addition, to answer your specific
question, the sqlca record is available in 4GL just as it is in ESQL/C.
There are just a couple of minor differences in how one handles this
record. Mainly the sqlca.sqlerrd array, like all 4GL arrays, is one
based not zero based like "C" so the serial number is found in
sqlca.sqlerrd[2] in 4GL and in sqlca.sqlerrd[1] in ESQL/C. The other
difference is the sqlca.sqlwarn is handled differently. This is all
documented in the 4GL manuals available online. Check out TFM for
further details.
