GUI for Informix?? (besides MS Access!)

Hi - We're going to be porting a database from Foxpro to Informix and I was wondering if folks know of products that allow full database capabilities from a GUI front end. On another application we use ODBC to connect Access 2.0 - but I was wondering if there was anything as functional than the MS Access products. Thanks! - Allen
Sure. Its called Java. You can either write a Java application, which is a stand alone program, or you can write applets. Applets require a browser (Netscape, Microsoft, ... must have a JVM.) There are also drag and drop IDEs that allow for quicker development. And with Swing, you get a true OS independent GUI. BTW, Java with JDBC-ODBC can connect to anything that is JDBC or ODBC compliant. -Mikey A Hale wrote: > Hi - > > We're going to be porting a database from Foxpro to Informix and I was > wondering if folks know of products that allow full database > capabilities from a GUI front end.
