I've written a simple isqlperl program that given the old database name
and an SQL file of CREATE [TABLE/INDEX] commands, lists the differences
then (attempts) to convert the tables:-
dbalter old_database_name new_database.sql
I've been using it with xx.xx.3 SE, mainly to bring customer database
upto date with the development version. I'd hoped that more recent
versions of Informix would've made this easier :-(
If it works for you, it *may* be useful. If anyone is interested, mail
or post.
