Licenses SAP-Informix

Hi, somebody knows how licenses are managed when you are using SAP with Informix like its database server. Look, our company is implementing SAP, obviusly each license is very expensive, and my question is if I must to pay for the licenses to use the engine of the database (in our case Informix) or, if in the price that I will pay for each user running SAP covers the licenses for the SAP product and for the access to the db server. I asked this question to my local supplier, but they told me that I need to buy separate licenses for the access to the db for each user that will run SAP-Informix (You know that they only want to sale!!)
