Informix Warehouse Feature Installation issue

Hello friends, We had a 11.50.FC5W3 test machine, running on a linux_64. I´ve downloaded the trial version of IW for linux, the activation zip file, but when I start the installation on console mode, like: sh install.bin -i console -D /export/home/informix/Warehouse It raises an error that I couldn´t solve yet: ------------------------------------------------- Installer User Interface Mode Not Supported The installer cannot run in this mode. Please review the installer's documentation to determine how to run this installer. ------------------------------------------------- What could it be? Some mistaken configuration? I´ve already included the -l parameter, but nothing changes, just the language of the same error above. Regards for all!

Ok I just got the installer working, on X display, but now the problem is that: we´re running CentOS and nor RedHat or SuSE servers, is there any way to "ignore prerequisites" on the installer? Regards!

Oi Alexandre, Maybe setting this environment variable before running the installer can help? (although I guess it will leave you with an unsupported platform, but if you want to try it...) export DS_IGNORE_OSPREREQ=TRUE The summary install log generated under <target install dir>/logs tells us if an OS Pre-requisite Check was run or not on the installer, besides the change of the behavior we should see in the install wizard. Veronica, I appreciate your attention, but the error still occur (linux is detected, but your O.S. is not supported by the installer, is neither an RedHat nor an SuSE installed). Best Regards.
