HI, This shouldn't be a migration problem unless you install the datablades in a directory outside of $INFORMIXDIR. You have to install all the database server files including the required datablades before migrating your data so that the external function references can be resolved. The SQL/UNL file generated always contains OS specific path like : create function "informix".sysbldlike(SYSBldSQLText,SYSBldSQLText) returns boolean external name '$INFORMIXDIR/extend/ifxmngr/ifxmngr.bld(SYSBldSQLTextLike)' language c; Does someone know a simplest way to do this, without splitting SQL and UNL manually ? ----- REVEL Laurent / DBA Engineer ----- REEF - 116, rue du Faubourg St Martin - 75010 PARIS Office Tel: 33 (0)1-55-26-53-53 and ask : 5404
