Hi, We are running IDS 7.3 of Digital Unix 4.0e. Can anyone please tell whether it is possible to run Oracle and Informix instances in the same machine? We want to run Oracle 8.0. If anybody is doing, please give more details. Sam

You might have to configure more of some kernel resources, but that should be about it. -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.95 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
Yes, just make sure the IPC type resources are enough and that the Informix and Oracle are not configured to run like they are the only items on the disk or cpu. -- --------------------------------------------------------- Steven Hauser email: hause011@tc.umn.edu URL: http://www.tc.umn.edu/~hause011 ---------------------------------------------------------
