Re: Switch from AIX to NT???

I'm an AIX admin, I've administered Sun, HP, DEC, SGI, NCR aswell in my time and I can safely say that no matter how irritating it was that this unix's version of ps did this and its pkgtool is called that, always was the box a stable thing. UNIX's can be totally admined from the commandline, cannot say that for NT. UNIX has shell's that make NT's CMD.EXE look like a toy (well, it is). UNIX versions of Informix are way easier to maintain. just ma 2c brett Leonids.Voroncovs@dati.lv wrote: > > Obnoxio The Clown wrote: > > > DB maintenance on NT is a way bigger pain in the ass than on > > AIX > > It is your personal opinion? -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Brett's seventh law of UNIX administration...
