Thanks for your help. Yes,there is already an update trigger on this table that doesn't declare any columns. So i cannot create another update trigger for a specified column of this table? Is there any other way to do this? The original trigger can execute multiple SPLs or the SPL it is running now (if any) can also call the new one. Art S.
