I've found something in the documentation : Infor;ix JDBC driver 2.0 : programmer's guide, page 3-80 : getBytes is for byte and blob getAsciistream is for cblob, text and lvarchar getBinarystream is for boolean, blob and byte So, It seems we are using something not compatible with text format with a text formated row. So what is the main difference that make it work ? I've not been able to find anything in the JDBC doc v1.4 There is no 1.5 doc. As we use JDBC v1.5, what is supported and what is not ? > > > N.
