procesor affinity and data replication

Can i set procesor affinity on secondary server in data replication pair? When I set AFF_SPROC and AFF_NPROCS, after reboot there is no information about affinity in logfile (usually on standard server information is after "On-line" message, but on secondary there is of course no "On-Line" message). How can i check that affinity really working on database system ? IDS 7.31FC7X1, HP-UX 11.0
