IDS 9.21.UC4/Unixware 7.1.1 Freezing

Lately we are experiencing some problems with our engine. It appears that, after running some, hi data demand queries, the system freezes for 10 to 20 minutes. The operating systems is fine, but we can't access the database. We have been working with IDS for almos 5 years now. Thanks for your help
