I worked with a company in France (4JS). They have a compiler which gives a GUI look and feel to Informix 4GL apps - their Windows front end is 32 bit and therefore runs on NT/95 and 3.1 with Win32S. It also runs in character mode and Motif - the resulting app looks Motif like even on the PC. All ON KEY's become buttons, display arrays become scroll bars, etc. It is for real, they did a demo app for us. My contact there was Georges Tomazi (tomazi@zeta.org.au).
