Authenticationproblem Informix 7.31 with Novell NDS CE for Solaris

Has anyone experience in using informix Release 7.31 with NDS corporate Edition for Solaris Release 7? We have the problem that it is not possible to access informix- Databases with useraccounts only in NDS and not present in /etc/passwd. We tried variations of the /etc/pam.conf with the services used by informix combined with the pam_nds.so but it didn't work. It only works with aliases (!) when they are present in passwd. Cause of security we want to use accounts and passwords for logging into a Solaris host via a telnetsession which are unknown to the user. E.g. the user logs into his NT-PC and Netwareservers with the account user_a in context cgn.tkg.de, but for logging into the Solarishost he uses user_a in context ux.tkg.de. This information is unknown to the user cause it is read via a VBscript out of the secret stores awailable in single sign on. The logging into the host is no problem, but no access to informix-databases is possible. Even if the user is present in /etc/passwd (!)
