There isn't a standard way to do it. The best approach I could offer is an I4GL program called J4GL, which is designed to work with a Makefile-based development environment. It can be used with either c-code or p-code I4GL. It does not have the CM (VC) hooks in it, but there's no particular reason why you couldn't add to it. It isn't even very complex code. There's a version which can (in principle) be used with D4GL available under the name d4gl in the D4GL corner of the IDN web site. Otherwise, it appears that j4gl is not in the IIUG software archive (the glimpse search didn't find it), so I'd have to package and post it. -- Yours, Jonathan Leffler (Jonathan.Leffler@Informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"
