You might start with http://www.informix.com/answers hi here! i've successfully installed the informix dynamic server 2000 on solaris, but now i'm really puzzled how to start or configure a server- instance... i've found absolutely NO information on this topic. when i run dbaccess or dbaccessdemo, it complains that INFORMIXSERVER is not set, and when i set it, it complains that the given server is not listed in the sqlhosts-file.. pleeeeeeze, give me a start! a poor underpaid sys-admin with no knowledge about INFORMIX...
