Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Hi ALL !
Linux RH 7.3
IDS 2000 v 9.21
I try to restore backup (under user informix).
This backup created on other server
After message "would you like to backup the logs .. n"
created error:
Could not fork server connection.
But under user root backup restored successfully.
----------------
I try :
oninit -ivy (under informix)It's work good.
I check onconfig parameters:
TAPEDEV , TEPESIZE, LTAPEDEV, LTAPESIZE
It's correct.
What must I do?
What's Informix write on the disk during "ontape -r"?
Check that you have correct permisons on ONTAPE:
ls -l ontape
-rwsr-sr-x 1 root informix ontape
