Where's the uncompile command when you need it?

There I was, in my favorite editor, ex (just kidding) when I was suddenly dumped to the command line. When I reopened my .4gl file it only had 81 chars. I'll just restore from last nights backup and only lose this morning's changes. WRONG! The nightly system backup doesn't even glance at the subdirectory I've been working in the last four months (well, it does /now/). Does anyone know of a way to extract my source code from a .4ge file? I think I already know the answer, but I gotta try.
