I have been told by Informix that this is a bug in IDS9.21FC1, occurs
while dropping columns.
14:41:11 Assert Failed: Memory block header corruption detected in
mt_shm_free 2
14:41:11 Informix Dynamic Server 2000 Version 9.21.FC1
14:41:11 Who: Session(80, informix@finsgdb, 9447, 149983080)
Thread(703, sqlexec, c000000008ece828, 3)
File: mtshpool.c Line: 3028
14:41:11 Results: Pool repaired
14:41:11 Action: Please notify Informix Technical Support.
14:41:11 stack trace for pid 8874 written to /tmp/af.6a78dcc
14:41:11 See Also: /tmp/af.6a78dcc
The alter statement actually completed successfully but it raises
concern about the stability of this particular version of ids. Has
anyone experienced the same out there ?
