The IECC agent is a separate install. In fact, the installation notes recommend that it be installed after IDS and ICONNECT. The IECC server agent for AIX was not shipped with IDS 7.31UC2 for some reason. However, it was included on the IDS 7.31.UC3-1 CD-ROM. > -----Original Message----- > From: William Rice [mailto:ricew@operamail.com] > Sent: Thursday, September 30, 1999 14:05 > To: Bernstein, Rick > Cc: !INFORMIX-list (E-mail) > Subject: RE: oncockpit? > > > We have 7.30 uc2 > Is the agent part of the base install or is it separate? > I could not find it in $INFORMIXDIR/bin > and I think i did a find on the name listed in the documentation > from $INFORMIXDIR and didnt see it. > > If I am missing something please tell me, we were wanting to at > least try out IECC. > > Will > > >===== Original Message From "Bernstein, Rick" > <rbernste@alarismed.com> ===== > >I just installed IDS 7.31.UC3-1 on AIX. > >It was shipped with the IECC agent. > > > >> -----Original Message----- > >> From: William Rice [mailto:ricew@operamail.com] > >> Sent: Monday, September 27, 1999 07:38 > >> To: informix-list; rwilson@ntsource.com > >> Subject: RE: oncockpit? > >> > >> > >> This is interesting, we tried to order > >> IECC and were told it was no longer being sent out > >> for AIX. > >> > >> Has anyone been able to get IECC? > >> > >> Will > >> >===== Original Message From rwilson@ntsource.com (Rob > Wilson) ===== > >> >William Rice (ricew@operamail.com) wrote: > >> > > >> >: I heard IECC was replaced by onweb or something of that sort > >> > > >> >Not replaced (yet).
