IBM has "pledged" support for a common set of web 2.0 tools for both DB2 and IDS. (I think basically with Cheetah, you have a common DRDA server to write to which makes things easier.) The point I was trying to make was that there was supposed to be an "open beta" of their new support of Python and Ruby.... Don't get me wrong, I do appreciate your work and Gerado Santana's work on Ruby. I just want to hold a couple of IBMer's feet to the fire to get their stuff out of the gate. ;-) NOTE: If its in open beta, why the heck can't I find it on IBM's web site? Its a friggin cryptic maze. -G _________________________________________________________________ Need a break? As noted many of the drivers have been generalized to support the various IBM Data Servers. If a specific driver I'd think it's a good guess they may at least be packaged with the DB2 Viper 2 beta. (which doesn't say they aren't anywhere else, just that that's one place to go look) Cheers Serge -- Serge Rielau DB2 Solutions Development IBM Toronto Lab
